A man was injured Monday morning when he was ejected from his vehicle after he lost control of it on U.S. 61 just south of Fruitland. A man was injured Monday morning when he was ejected from his vehicle after he lost control of it on U.S. 61 just south of Fruitland.

The driver, who Jackson police did not identify Monday morning, was heading south on U.S. 61 around 10 a.m. when he lost control of his Mitsubishi. The car rolled and ejected the driver, who was not wearing a seat belt, Jackson police spokesman Rodney Barnes said.

The driver was taken to Saint Francis Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
