The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

DWI

* Michelle A. Lyerla, 44, of Alto Pass, Ill., was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated, failure to maintain a single lane and failure to yield to an emergency vehicle.

Arrests

* Precious C. Hamilton, 36, 403 S. Hanover St., and Theresa V. Wade, 56, 1009 Linden St., were arrested on suspicion of stealing.

* Dakeya L. Duncan, 21, of Carrier Mills, Ill., was arrested on suspicion of stealing and possession of marijuana.

* A subject was in custody pending formal charges for stealing.

* Kyle D. Hill, 20, of Sikeston, Mo., was arrested on a Sikeston warrant for failure to appear for possession of marijuana and on a Charleston, Mo., warrant for contempt of court for a traffic offense.

* Melanie A. Carr, 50, 2932 La Mesa Drive, was arrested on a Missouri probation and parole warrant for probation violation.

* Logan M. Sloan, age not given, of Bertrand, Mo., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant.

Summons

* Aundrea L. Gonzaque, 20, of McClure, Ill., received a summons for shoplifting at Kohl's, 315 Shirley Drive.

Assaults

* Assault of a law enforcement officer was reported at Independence Street and Caruthers Avenue.

* Assault was reported.

Burglary

* A burglary was reported at 1006 Dearmore Court.

Thefts

* Cash was reported stolen at 905 S. Ellis St.

* Money was reported stolen at 19 N. Water St.

Property damage

* Damage to a vehicle was reported at 80 S. Plaza Way.

Miscellaneous

* A 61-year-old woman was taken into protective custody.

* Endangering the welfare of a child was reported.
