* Missouri Attorney General Chris Koster is sending assistant attorneys general into every county in the state the week of March 26 to provide information to consumers about the national mortgage settlement. Meetings will be held at noon and 6 p.m. March 29, in the Commissioners Room of the County Administration Building in Jackson. People who might qualify to receive benefits under the program will register with his office during these meetings. The settlement applies to five of the nation's largest banks: Bank of America, Citigroup, JPMorgan Chase, Wells Fargo and Ally Financial (GMAC).
