A Doniphan, Mo., woman is hoping for a big turnout for a protest she's planning for 11 a.m. today near Rush Limbaugh's floodwall mural along Water Street in Cape Girardeau. Dee Garrison isn't sure how many people will attend, but she's invited as many of her "progressive women" friends as she could think of. She is protesting Limbaugh's placement into the Hall of Famous Missourians in the Capitol in Jefferson City because she disapproves of the Cape Girardeau native and talk show host, particularly when he called a woman a "slut" for her stance on insurance for contraception. "Basically, we're coming to the wall because that's where we want Rush's picture to stay," Garrison said. "We don't approve of it coming to Jefferson City."
