Robert D Baugher, 64, of Cape Girardeau died Wednesday, March 14, 2012, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

He was born Tuesday, Oct. 21, 1947, in Chaffee, Mo., to the late Dallas and Mabel Verble Baugher.

Robert served in the U.S. Air Force and was a self-employed carpenter.

He is survived by his wife, Karen Kay Baugher of Cape Girardeau; son, Derek Baugher of Cape Girardeau; brothers, Roger (Debbie) Baugher of Millersville, Mo.; Gary (Sue) Baugher of Illinois; sisters, Laverne Smith of Cape Girardeau; Jean (Newt) Gilliland of Jackson; Phyllis (Tom) Hizer of St. Louis; and a granddaughter, Katie Marie Baugher of Cape Girardeau.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Kara Baugher.

Services will be private and held at a later date.
