I-55 in Perry County reduced for pavement repair

SIKESTON, Mo. -- Northbound Interstate 55 from Highway 51 to Route J/P in Perry County will be reduced to one lane with a 12-foot restriction this week as Missouri Department of Transportation crews make pavement repairs.

Weather permitting, work will begin at 7 a.m. today and will conclude by 3:30 p.m. Friday. The work zone will be marked with signs. Motorists are urged to use caution while traveling near the area.
