Wilma Drum Neal, 96, of Cape Girardeau died Thursday, March 29, 2012, at Chateau Girardeau Health Center.

She was born Dec. 21, 1915, at Oak Ridge, to Elmer C. and Ruth A. Samuel Neal. She and K.D. Neal were married Sept. 18, 1937, at Charleston, Mo. He died Oct. 13, 1980.

Wilma graduated from Oak Ridge High School in 1933 and attended Cape Girardeau Business College from 1934 to 1935. In 1935 she was employed by attorney E.F. Sharp in New Madrid, Mo., until 1942. She moved to Cape Girardeau in 1942 and worked for Kimbel Truck Line. She started with W.E. Walker Co. as a secretary in 1947 and retired in 1986.

She was a member of Centenary United Methodist Church and the Wimodausis Circle. She was also a member of St. Marks Chapter No. 167 O.E.S., Calvary Shrine No. 8 White Shrine of Jerusalem and Cape Court No. 14 Order of the Amaranth.

Survivors include several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and -nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of service Monday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Chapel with an O.E.S. service at 11 a.m.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Jeff Long officiating.

Burial will be at Cape County Memorial Park Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.

Memorial contributions may be given to Centenary United Methodist Church or Shriners Hospitals for Children.
