All the local high school events reported Tuesday to the Southeast Missourian.

The St. Vincent girls soccer team remained undefeated with a hard-earned road win.

The Indians (7-0) snapped a 1-1 halftime tie with two second-half goals to slip past Saxony Lutheran 3-1 on Tuesday.

Katie Taylor got the game-winner, heading in a pass from Abby Lappe. Courtney Heberlie added an insurance goal, also off a Lappe assist.

Holly Cissell scored an unassisted goal for St. Vincent in the first half. Sarah Winningham scored for the Crusaders in the opening period.

St. Vincent won the JV game 1-0.

Carbondale (Ill.) 2, Notre Dame 1

Notre Dame saw Carbondale score the tie-breaking goal midway through the first half and suffered a road loss.

The Bulldogs (4-2), down 1-0, tied the contest in the opening minute of the final period on a goal by Taylor Rinda. Sarah Lawrence assisted.

JV -- Notre Dame won 4-0.

BASEBALL

Saxony Lutheran 11, Egyptian (Ill.) 2

Jon Winkler pitched a complete game with 12 strikeouts, and Gabe Bohnert homered to lead host Saxony.

Winkler allowed one earned run on three hits. He walked one.

The Crusaders (5-3) had 10 hits, led by Winkler, Trent Steffens and Clay Roth with two each.

Steffens tripled and had three RBIs, while Roth tripled and had two RBIs. Koenig doubled and added two RBIs.

Alex Crowe struck out nine in three innings to lead Chaffee to a five-inning road rout.

Crowe allowed just one of the Braves' two hits. He also had a double and a triple and went 2 for 3.

Cody Payne also had a triple, while Jonah Hendrix had a double.

Daniel Dooley and Jared Walker both had two hits for Chaffee (9-1).

Jonathan Petzoldt pitched a complete game for the host Indians.

Petzoldt allowed just one run over the final four innings. He finished with a seven-hitter, striking out seven and walking none.

Kevin Mattingly, Mark Kutz and Trent Elder all had two hits for the Indians (4-2), who snapped a 2-2 tie with a five-run fifth inning.

Leopold scored in every inning, the big frame being an 11-run third, to post a lopsided five-inning road victory.

The Wildcats (3-6) banged out 16 hits, led by Zachary Elfrink with three. Austin Bucher, Gregg Davis, Casey Graham, Ben Seiler and Matt Brotherton all added two hits. Seiler had three RBIs.

Joe Elfrink pitched a six-hitter for the win. He struck out five and walked two.

Johnson allowed one hit over three shutout innings for the victory. He struck out seven and walked one.

Oak Ridge notched its first win of the season, romping to a five-inning road victory.

The Blue Jays (1-6) had 15 hits, led by Micheala Oehl and Shelby Mangels with two each. Marissa Schamburg and Dawn Palmer added two hits apiece. Oehl tripled.

Emily Beard was the winning pitcher.

Clark (6-0) allowed one earned run and two hits in going the distance in the circle.

Jackie Lingle had both of Zalma's hits.
