Dorothy C. Musil, 91, of Cape Girardeau died Monday, April 2, 2012, at Saint Francis Medical Center.

She was born Jan. 11, 1921, in Charleston, Mo., to Thomas and Dela Houston Wilson.

In her later days she lived at Cape Town Assisted Care Center where she thoroughly enjoyed all the staff and made many friends during her stay.

She is survived by a daughter, Carolyn McCalister (Eugene) of Cape Girardeau; a son, James Duvall (Ronell) of Mosier, Ore.; eight grandchildren, Janet Miller (David) and Julie Krueger (Joe) of Cape Girardeau, Jane Fitzgerald (John) of Owensboro, Ky., Marcia Metheny (Gene) of Redington Beach, Fla., Michael McCalister of Plant City, Fla., Debbie Guthrie (Charles) of Idaho, Michael Duvall of The Dalles, Ore., Candy Blanton (Gene) of Troy, Ill.; 12 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by three brothers, a sister and two great-grandchildren.

Dorothy was first married to James Duvall and then married Stanley Musil. Both are deceased.

Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. today at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home.

Graveside service will be at noon today at IOOF Cemetery in Charleston, with the Rev. Donny Ford officiating.
