OBAMA must have a clue as to how the Supreme Court is going to rule on ObamaCare. As he describes the United States Supreme Court, the highest court of the land, as an "unelected group of people." How's that for a presidential quote? It almost seems like the name-calling of a little spoiled brat before throwing a tantrum. I hope more and more people see the arrogance and lack of leadership we have in the White House. Oh, and don't forget how he has tried to look funny by holding his hand over the mic at multinational arms talks after being caught telling the Russians how he needs time so after re-election he can sell us out when it comes to national security. How scary is that?
Unnecessary printing
I received my new voter ID in the mail today. I am just wandering what it cost to county taxpayers, what with all the color printing and everything. Why in the world couldn't they save us money and just use our driver's license? Tax dollars at work.
Girls soccer
THE girls' soccer teams in the area are playing their hearts out and all look good. Where is KFVS and their live, local, late-breaking coverage? I am lucky to hear a score on occasion. Give these girls a boost and get in the game.

What improvement?
I'VE been reading in the paper and hearing on TV all of these people telling us how the economy is getting so much better. I don't know where they live, but it takes twice as much money to fill up our vehicles. It takes more money to buy food. You have our utility bill here in Cape Girardeau that has gone up $20 a month. Ameren Missouri is wanting to raise their rates. I get my cable bill, it's gone up just a little bit. We live on X amount of dollars and you don't have any more coming in, but yet everything that you buy or use anymore has gone up.
Deer idea
I like Loretta Schneider's idea about taking care of our deer problem. I think it would be wonderful to give the food to those that need it and get rid of part of the problem. So, it doesn't take care of all them, at least it could take care of some.
Teens, tanning
IF the Missouri Legislature fails to ban tweens and teens from using tanning beds, then it will in effect be endorsing the freedom of our young people to get melanoma.
