BLOOMFIELD, Mo. -- Evidence seized Wednesday from a rural Dexter, Mo., home landed five convicted felons in jail facing charges of possessing methamphetamine.

Mark Cox, 41, Bradley E. Jackson, 39, David A. Burnett, 48, Darren White, 40, and Chasity K. Jackson, 35, all of Dexter, were charged Thursday with felony possession of methamphetamine.

Stoddard County sheriff's deputies served a search warrant on White's residence where they found the four men at a table "cutting the methamphetamine up in individual portions," said Sheriff Carl Hefner. Chasity Jackson was found coming out of the bathroom

Deputies seized about 3 grams of suspected methamphetamine, along with drug paraphernalia, such as needles, scales and various smoking devices, Hefner said.

All five are being held in the Stoddard County Jail on $75,000 cash bonds.
