Jackson's Ben Rushin matched his older sister's impressive feat.
The senior earned the outstanding field athlete award at Saturday's Jackson Invitational meet.
Rushin's sister Jill, who now competes at the University of Missouri, earned the same award in 2009 and 2010.
Ben Rushin won the shot put and discus to help the Indians win the team title with 119 points Saturday. It was the first time the Jackson boys team won the title at its own meet.
Scott City standout Brandon Shemonia shared the outstanding runner award. He shared it with Poplar Bluff's Nick Pattillo. Shemonia won the 1,600 in a meet record 4 minutes, 24.07 seconds. He also won the 3,200.
Jackson's Brannon Wright barely edged Kirkwood's Chris Taylor to win the 400.
Central's Chris Martin won the triple jump while taking third in the 100. Central's Jacob Campbell finished second in the 110 hurdles and 300 hurdles to help the Tigers grab sixth with 67 points.
Jackson senior Taylor Dickerson shared the outstanding runner award on the girls side after a pair of victories. She won the 1,600 in a meet record 5:08.40 and added a victory in the 800. Teammate Lindsey Seabaugh was second in the 800.
The Indians finished second with 126 points behind champion Kirkwood, which scored 206.
Jackson sophomore Sierra Maddux snared the outstanding field athlete award by winning the pole vault with a meet-record vault of 10 feet, 6 inches.
Jackson's Paden Wachter won the discus and took third in the shot put. Teammate Lauren Anderson was second in the 100 hurdles and 300 hurdles.
Jackson and Kirkwood shared the combined title. Kirkwood won it last year, and Jackson took it in 2010.
