Benjamin Mathew Vance, 32, of Jackson passed away Friday, April 13, 2012. Born Nov. 5, 1979, in Herman, Mo., living the majority of his life in Southeast Missouri, Benjamin leaves many loving family members and friends. Benjamin was the cherished son of Claude Camden Vance, Susie Marie Johnson and Mike Pinkley; grandson of Buck Johnson; husband of Kimberly Ariola-Vance; father of Daylon Trent and Gray Hawk; stepfather to Teshia and Dalton; brother of Tasha Brown, Danielle Gemeinhart, Courtney Vance and Brianna Vance; brother-in-law to Brandon Gemeinhart; uncle to Austin, Aubrey, Alexis, Jesse, Joshua, Riley and Wyatt; nephew and cousin to many; and adored friend.. ...

Benjamin Mathew Vance, 32, of Jackson passed away Friday, April 13, 2012.

Born Nov. 5, 1979, in Herman, Mo., living the majority of his life in Southeast Missouri, Benjamin leaves many loving family members and friends.

Benjamin was the cherished son of Claude Camden Vance, Susie Marie Johnson and Mike Pinkley; grandson of Buck Johnson; husband of Kimberly Ariola-Vance; father of Daylon Trent and Gray Hawk; stepfather to Teshia and Dalton; brother of Tasha Brown, Danielle Gemeinhart, Courtney Vance and Brianna Vance; brother-in-law to Brandon Gemeinhart; uncle to Austin, Aubrey, Alexis, Jesse, Joshua, Riley and Wyatt; nephew and cousin to many; and adored friend.

Benjamin was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Gerald and Jennie Vance, and maternal grandmother, Lil Johnson.

He was a member of the Cape Girardeau Carpenters Union and trained as apprentice before striking out on his own into the construction business.

An avid fisherman and hunter, Benjamin Mathew Vance will be greatly missed.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at Hutchings Funeral Chapel in Marble Hill, Mo.

A funeral service will be held at 7 p.m.

Inurnment will be at a later date in McGee Chapel Cemetery.
