CHARLESTON, Mo. -- A man arrested Wednesday on murder and drug charges related to a fatal shooting in Charleston is in the Mississippi County Detention Center, but officials are reportedly still seeking the shooter.

Andra R. Phillips Jr. , 33, of Puyallup, Wash., is charged with felony second-degree murder and felony distribution of a controlled substance near public housing. He is being held on a $1 million cash-only bond.

Phillips is set to be arraigned Wednesday morning, according to Case.net.

Charleston police responded to a report of a shooting at 11:30 p.m. Tuesday, according to director of the Charleston Public Safety Robert E. Hearnes.

Gregory Gary, 27, of Tacoma, Wash., was pronounced dead at the scene, Hearnes said.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol is assisting in the ongoing investigation.
