Larry K. Childers, 46, of Cape Girardeau passed away Saturday, April 14, 2012, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

He was born Jan. 13, 1966, in Cape Girardeau, to Larry C. Childers and Judith Whitaker Young. He married the former Deborah Stephens, and later married Sabina Nash.

Larry attended Cape Girardea Central High School, and worked at Thorngate. He was a member of The Eagles Aerie 3775.

Survivors include: father, Larry C. Childers of Cape Girardeau; mother, Judith Young of Cape Girardeau; sons, Adam (Jamie) Childers, of Oran, Mo., Dustin (Ashley) Childers, Cody (Michaela Bagby) Stephens, Larry E. Childers, all of Cape Girardeau; wife, Sabina Childers of Cape Girardeau; first wife, Deborah Stephens; daughters, Sasha (Brock) Wehmeyer and Brandie Childers, both of Cape Girardeau; brothers, Terry (Bobbie) Childers of Cape Girardeau and Garry Childers of Louisiana; and eight grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Jeff Long officiating.

Burial will follow at Cape County Memorial Park Mausoleum in Cape Girardeau.
