BENTON, Mo. -- Loretta Jean Bom, 71, of Benton died Sunday, April 22, 2012, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Jan. 12, 1941, in Tulare, Calif., to Andrew and Vera Davis Shively. She married Robert D. Bom on Feb. 14, 1959, in East Prairie, Mo.

Loretta was a seamstress for Columbia Sportswear and Thorngate Ltd.

She is survived by her husband; four sons, Charles Bom of New Madrid, Mo., Robert L. Bom of Pacific, Mo., Daniel Bom of Sedalia, Mo., Tedie Hill of East Prairie; a daughter, Sonya Allen of Benton; a brother, Bob Shively of East Prairie; three sisters, Linda Brown of Mount Vernon, Ill., Carolyn Mackey of Julian, Calif., Mary Jerry of Campbell, Ohio; 12 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers; three sisters; and twin sons, Terry and Gary.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Benton.

There is no service.
