Lil Angle earned medalist honors at the Chip A Ways weekly outing at Cape Jaycee Municipal Golf Course.

JoEllen Haas and Sharon Dow shared play of the day honors, which was scores on even holes.

Waunite Van Dan Dyke recorded the lowest putts.

Williams, Cook team for win

Danny Williams and Lachelle Cook took first place in the SEMO Horseshoe Association's tournament at the Backyard Club.

Mike DaVault and Carolyn Schreckenberg finished second, while Wesley Stoverink and Cori Stoverink were third in the seven-team tournament.

Brey finishes in first place

Judi Brey took first place in the Cape Girardeau Country Club's Women's Golf Association's weekly outing.

Janet White was second, while Shirley Moore and Betty Michel tied for third.

Banken scores hole-in-one

James Banken used a 7-iron to score an ace on hole No. 12 at Cape Jaycee Municipal Golf Course.

The hole was playing 170 yards. Jack Watts and Mark Oliver witnessed the shot.
