All the local high school events reported Tuesday to the Southeast Missourian.

Gabe Felter hit a two-out grand slam in the first inning to power the Kelly baseball team to a 6-3 victory over host Oran on Tuesday.

Winning pitcher Ian Householder had two of Kelly's five hits, while Austin Wadlington had a double.

Householder struck out 10, walked five and allowed six hits in pitching a complete game.

Kody Moore had a triple among his two hits for Oran. Trenton Hency added two hits, and Blake Carlyle had a double.

Losing pitcher Chance Tenkhoff allowed five runs, all earned, over four innings. Alex Heuring and Hunter Schlosser combined for three innings of hitless relief.

Saxony Lutheran 6, Oak Ridge 5

Tyler Koenig hit a one-out sacrifice fly with the bases loaded to send the Crusaders to a nine-inning road win.

Koenig finished with three RBIs.

Winning pitcher Jon Winkler pitched all nine innings for Saxony Lutheran (11-7). Winkler allowed seven hits, struck out four and walked one. Only two of the runs allowed were earned.

Gabe Bohnert, Trent Steffens and Chase Steffens all had two hits for Saxony Lutheran.

Jake LeGrand and Kelby Brown both had two hits for Oak Ridge.

LeGrand took the loss in relief.

The Rams romped to a five-inning win on the road.

Travis Phillips, Brett Dirnberger, Landon Robert and Ryan Fortner all had two hits for Scott City (10-7). Phillips had a triple, while Dirnberger had a double. Robert and Fortner both drove home two runs.

Freshman Rachel Crites scored two goals to lead the Indians to a road victory.

Jordan Myer and Hailey Mouser both added one goal for Jackson (9-5).

Alexa Kelpe contributed two assists, while Mouser and Hailey Callis had one assist.

Erin Eakens recorded the shutout in goal.

Leopold 16, Zalma 0

Denai Arnzen had three hits and five RBIs in the Wildcats' road victory.

Arnzen and Ashlyn Bucher both had a double. Ashley Keim, Taylor Eftink and Allison Woodfin all had two hits for Leopold (13-3).

Winning pitcher Caitlin Petty struck out four, walked five and allowed two hits over four innings.
