Matthews - 60 Years

Mr. and Mrs. Jack Matthews of Tucson, Ariz., recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary. The couple renewed their vows at St. Paul's United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Billy Still conducting the service.

A reception followed at Hilton Tucson East Hotel. Hosts were their children, David (Debra) Matthews of Tucson and Shelley (Dr. Noel) Addy of Starkville, Miss.

Matthews and Gloria June Green were married May 17, 1952, at the former Third Street Methodist Church in Cape Girardeau, by the Rev. Boytt Willis. Their attendants were Barbara Green and Richard Barks.

Mr. and Mrs. Matthews have eight grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
