GREENVILLE, Mo. -- A Bloomfield, Mo., teen sustained serious injuries in an ATV accident Wednesday six miles south of Greenville.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Andrew T. Bond, 16, was a passenger in a 1997 John Deer Gator ATV driven by Claude E. Clinton, 17, of Greenville, when the ATV left the roadway and struck a utility pole.

The accident occurred on the grounds of Camp Allen south of Greenville. Clinton was uninjured. Bond was airlifted from the scene to Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau for treatment.
