Traffic will be restricted to one lane on the U.S. 51, 60 and 62 Ohio River bridge between Wickliffe, Ky,. and Cairo, Ill., during daylight hours starting Monday. This lane restriction will allow for maintenance and electrical work on the bridge. The work will take place Monday through Thursday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. It is expected to continue through June 28. Motorists will encounter one-lane traffic with alternating flow controlled by flaggers. They should be aware of equipment, flaggers and maintenance personnel on the bridge deck. Delays will generally be less than five minutes.

Farmers who need to move oversize equipment across the bridge or truckers hauling wide loads should contact the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet Paducah office at 270-898-2431 during normal business hours to make special arrangements to travel through the work zone.
