Bill was preceded in death by his parents, the Rev. William E. and Dorothy A. Houseman Fish.

He is survived by a brother, Bobby Fish; three sons, Bradley David Fish, Tommy Fish and Tracy Fish; two stepchildren, Tessa Gehardt and Tim Evans; and two grandchildren.
