Roberts - 50 Years

Mr. and Mrs. Richard Roberts of Jackson recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in Branson, Mo. Hosts were their children.

Roberts and Joann Brumlow were married Aug. 21, 1962, in Paducah, Ky.

He served more than 30 years in the U.S. Air Force, then with the National Guard. He retired after more than 20 years at Noranda in Marston, Mo. Joann volunteered more than 20 years at Sikeston Public Library.

The Roberts have five children, Rita Roberts of Creve Coeur, Mo., Jason Roberts of St. Louis, Jerry and Maureen Roberts of Sikeston, Mo., Rollin and Marcella Roberts of Mississippi, Susan Roberts and fiance Corey Cantwell of Jackson. They have seven grandchildren, Jacob, Maddie, Clayton, Abigail, Samantha, Natalie and Wyatt.
