Linebacker Aaron Brown, a seventh-round pick, was the team's lone draft selection to be cut.

Davis was impressive throughout the preseason after going undrafted out of Southern Mississippi. Davis and Clemens both struggled in the preseason finale, a 31-17 victory over the Ravens on Thursday night. Clemens went 2 for 8 for 10 yards with an interception and Davis was 1 for 4 for 13 yards.

"I think we're in a good spot right now," St. Louis coach Jeff Fisher said. "We're young, we still have a lot of work to do."
