HARTFORD, Ky. -- Dr. Ronald "Ronnie" Earl Price, 78, of Hartford passed away Friday, Aug. 31, 2012, at the Ohio County Hospital in Hartford.

He was born in Madisonville, Ky., on July 16, 1934, to the late Robert E. Price and Dora Pearl Allen Price.

Dr. Price was a retired dentist and practiced in Cape Girardeau. He was a member of Hartford Baptist Church, and graduated from Western Kentucky University in 1956 and University of Louisville Dental School in 1963. Dr. Price served in U.S. Army Military Intelligence in Germany. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and watching St. Louis Cardinals baseball.

Price is survived by one son, C. Steven (Judy Richards) Price of Cape Girardeau; daughter Rhonda J. Price of St. Louis; three stepgrandchildren; brother Dr. Charles L. (Shirlye) and sister Dr. Ann Price, both of Hartford; three nieces; and one nephew.

The funeral was Monday, with Brother Ed Mitchell and Brother Wesley O. Hanson officiating. Burial was in Oakwood Cemetery Hartford.
