Lynda K. Hansen, 62, of Cape Girardeau died Saturday, Sept. 1, 2012, at Lifecare Center. She was born Aug. 21, 1950, in Cape Girardeau, to Clyde and Juanita O'Daniel Wallis. Lynda K. Hansen, 62, of Cape Girardeau died Saturday, Sept. 1, 2012, at Lifecare Center.

She was born Aug. 21, 1950, in Cape Girardeau, to Clyde and Juanita O'Daniel Wallis.

Lynda worked at Thorngate Ltd. in Cape Girardeau. She was a former member of the UNITE union where she served as president and secretary.

Survivors include a daughter, Wendy (C.J.) Bobo of Sikeston, Mo.; a brother, David (Sue) Wallis of Cape Girardeau; a sister-in-law, Kathy Wallis of Jackson; two grandchildren, Samantha and Marcus Hill of Sikeston; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Brandi Hansen; and a brother, Dale Wallis.

Visitation will be from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Thursday at Crain Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.

Graveside committal service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at Lorimier Cemetery, with Dr. Elisha Pullen officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society and will be accepted at the funeral home.
