Darrell L. Sebastian, 56, of Cape Girardeau passed away Thursday, Sept. 6, 2012, at Life Care Center in Cape Girardeau. He had been diagnosed with cancer about two years ago.

He was born Sept. 11, 1955, in Jackson, to Herman and Louise Young Sebastian. He attended Jackson schools.

Darrell worked several years on the river as a lead man with Midland Enterprises, and was most recently employed at Gilster-Mary Lee in Perryville, Mo.

Survivors include two daughters, Jessica White and her daughters Skyler, Bailey and soon expected Emma of Perryville, Brittney Sebastian of Perryville; a son, Dustin (Amanda) Sebastian and their daughter Addison of Fort Bliss, El Paso, Texas; his mother, Louise Sebastian of Millersville; three brothers, Harold Sebastian of Millersville, Gerald (Brenda) Sebastian of Allenville, Darren (Donna) Sebastian of Jackson; and special friend, Christina Rump of Benton, Mo.

He was preceded in death by his father.

The family will have a private service.

Arrangements for cremation by McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.
