Cape Girardeau County Republican Party opens headquarters
The Cape Girardeau County Republican Party headquarters has opened for the 2012 general election season, it announced in a new release Tuesday. The headquarters is at 528 Helena St., behind McDonald's on Broadway, in Cape Girardeau. Office hours are 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday. The headquarters is at 528 Helena St., behind McDonald's on Broadway, in Cape Girardeau. Office hours are 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday. The headquarters is staffed by volunteers and will be open through Election Day, Nov. 6.
The headquarters will allow the party to share information about candidates, organizations and volunteer opportunities, and distribute materials such as yard signs, decals, buttons and shirts, said Cape County Republican Central Committee chairwoman Holly M. Lintner.
