Betty Fox

Betty Ann Fox, 70, of Jackson died Monday, Sept. 17, 2012, at her home.

She was born Jan. 22, 1942, in Cape Girardeau, to John C. and Dorothy M. Kinder Parsons. She and Thomas L. Fox were married July 2, 1973, in Memphis, Tenn.

Betty graduated from Jackson High School. She was a production worker at International Shoe Co. in Jackson 23 years, then worked in housekeeping at Saint Francis Medical Center and Missouri Veterans Home. After retiring Betty worked part time in housekeeping at Monticello House.

Survivors include a brother, John William "Bill" (Sue) King Jr.; three nephews, John William "Bill" King III, Kevin King and James King, all of Jackson.

She was preceded in death by her husband and parents.

There will be no visitation.

The funeral is private.

Betty would like any memorials to go to Safe Harbor Animal Shelter.
