Margaret Sample

Margaret Ann Sample, 66, of Jackson died Sept. 23, 2012, at her home.

She was born Aug. 9, 1946, in Cape Girardeau, to Hollie Robert and Lucille Bertha Thorn Cutright. She and Lester Sample were married Aug. 30, 1963.

Margaret worked at Riverfront Auto 25 years and at the Southeast Missourian two years.

Survivors include her husband; three daughters, Patti (Rodney) Stephens, Stephanie Sample, Angela (Kevin) Stephens, all of Cape Girardeau; two sons, Thomas (Lori) Sample of Cape Girardeau, Michael Sample of Jackson; two sisters, Rose Marberry of Cape Girardeau, Ellen Mayfield of Marble Hill, Mo.; six grandchildren, Chris, Emily, Amanda, Britt, Dylan and Blake; nieces; nephews; and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother and a sister.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Crain Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Mark Anderson officiating. Interment will be in Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.

Memorial contributions may be made to the family to offset expenses and will be accepted at the funeral home.
