Darcus Tremayne Purl, 38, of Cape Girardeau died Thursday, Sept. 20, 2012, at Saint Francis Medical Center.

He was born Oct. 19, 1973, in Cape Girardeau, to Ollie Louis and Martha Mae Harris Purl.

Purl was employed as a mechanic in the Cape Girardeau area.

Survivors include a son, Dae'Merius Purl of Cape Girardeau; two daughters, De'Avion Purl of Ullin, Ill., Azril Purl of Cape Girardeau; a brother, Joe L. Harris of Cape Girardeau; three sisters, Carol A. Harris, Terrie E. Purl and Denise D. Purl, all of Cape Girardeau.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to service time Saturday at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Funeral Home.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Howard McGee officiating. Burial will be in Lorimier Cemetery.
