Marguerite M. Cook, 88, passed away Sunday, Oct. 7, 2012, at Jackson Manor Nursing Home in Jackson.
She was born June 5, 1924, in Mayfield, Mo., daughter of Columbus and Esther Mayfield Seabaugh. She and Elbert L. Cook were married Nov. 15, 1943. He passed away Nov. 1, 1971.
Marguerite was an avid St. Louis Cardinals baseball fan, always enjoying watching and listening to their games.
Loving survivors include a daughter, Brenda (Larry) Hartle of Millersville; a brother, Gene Seabaugh of Cape Girardeau; two grandsons, James Hartle of Jackson, Jeremy Hartle of Cobden, Ill.; two great-grandsons, Christopher and Charles Hartle of Jackson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, and a daughter, Beverly Knight.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Pulliam Cemetery near Scopus, Mo., with the Rev. Sam Roethemeyer officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family.
