Jackson seniors Montana Adams and Jenny Powell swept Lafayette's Sarah Goodman and Kayla Neskar 6-2, 6-1 in the Class 2 Sectional 1 on Monday to advance to the state tennis tournament for the third consecutive year.
Jackson's other doubles team of Katelyn Kuppart and Laina Marble lost to Lafayette's Abby Carpenter and Kelly Carpenter in straight sets, 1-6, 0-6.
Indians senior Jackie McNally also fell short of the state tournament in singles. She lost to Lafayette's Arianna Demos 1-6, 1-6.

Kate Ellsworth had three blocks and Angie Hoehn had nine service points in the Pirates' road victory.
Lauren Buxton also added two kills to help the Pirates improve to 19-4.
JV -- Perryville won 25-6, 25-13
Caitlin Petty had 13 kills, five aces, nine assists and two digs as the Wildcats picked up their 20th victory on the road.
The Wildcats' Denai Arnzen had five kills and five digs, while Alli Woodfin added six kills and three digs. Sydney Eeftink also contributed four kills, 11 assists and two digs for Leopold (20-3-1).
Poplar Bluff 3, Saxony Lutheran 2
Logan Sprandel scored two goals for Saxony, but the Crusaders lost on the road in double overtime.
Hunter Coe assisted on both the goals.
