Sikeston doctor attains Clinical Densitometrist certification

Dr. Muhannad Al-Kilani, was recently recertified as a Certified Clinical Densitometrist by The International Society for Clinical Densitometry. The recertification allows Al-Kilani to continue performing bone mineral density testing to evaluate osteoporosis and fracture risk. Al-Kilani has tested mor than 2,500 patients for bone density, treated more than 1,400 with low bone mass or osteoporosis, and more than 600 with other metabolic bone diseases at his office in the Missouri Delta Diabetes and Endocrine Center.

Northwest Mutual Financial Hahs Group adds new staff

Brittany Meek, of Marble Hill, Mo.; Megan Janet, of Cape Girardeau; and Bobby Rushing of Pinkneyville, Ill., have joined the Northwest Mutual Financial Network Hahs Group. Meek has been named director of recruitment and selection. She finished her degree from Southeast Missouri State University and serves as an ambassador for Cape Girardeau and Jackson Chambers of Commerce. Janet comes on as the director of campus selection. She received her degree from Southeast. Rushing has been appointed as a Financial Representative and received his degree from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale. All will be working out of the Cape Girardeau office on 1307 N. Mount Auburn Road.

Area dentist completes cosmetic dentistry program

Dr. Ross Bennett of Cape Girardeau, recently completed an advanced continuum in the field of cosmetic dentistry in Mesa, Arizona. Bennett is one of 15 dentists in world to complete the program.
