Missouri Republican gubernatorial candidate Dave Spence is scheduled to speak twice in Jackson on Wednesday. Spence will first meet with supporters at 8:15 a.m. at the Cape Girardeau County Farm Bureau, 406 W. Washington St. Spence is also scheduled to speak at noon at the Jackson Senior Center, 2690 Travelers Way. Spence will discuss his platform to put Missouri back to work and update supporters on his campaign. Spence is a St. Louis businessman challenging incumbent Democratic Gov. Jay Nixon in his first foray into politics.
