Charles Robert Park Sr., 66, of Cape Girardeau, died at 6:25 a.m., Friday, Oct. 19, 2012, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

He was born Dec. 16, 1945, in Cape Girardeau to James Edward and Ruth Ann Kennedy Park.

Charles is survived by three sons, Charles Edward Park of Jonesboro, Ill., Charles Robert Park Jr. of St. Louis and Christopher Park of California; four daughters, Rose Marie Park and Candie Mills, both of Cape Girardeau, and Tina and April Park of California; 24 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one brother, Edward Park of Olney, Ill.; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends

He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Timothy Park; one sister, Helen Pender; and one brother, Richard Park

Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday and from 8 a.m. until the time of service Tuesday at Crain Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Chris Clifton officiating. Interment will follow in Lorimier Cemetery.

Memorial contributions can be made to the SEMO Safe House for Women and will be accepted at the funeral home.
