SIKESTON, Mo. -- U.S. 61/Main Street in Sikeston will be reduced to one lane at two intersections as Missouri Department of Transportation crews convert signals to flashing yellow lefts. The intersections are at U.S. 61 and Tanner Street and U.S. 61 and Lake Street.

Weather permitting, the work is planned to begin at 8 p.m. Thursday and conclude by 6 a.m. Friday. The work zones will be marked with signs. Motorists are urged to use caution while traveling near the areas.
