Lisa Renee Clements Hunt was fully healed and ran into the arms of Jesus on Thursday, Oct. 25, 2012, after a long and courageous battle with multiple sclerosis.

She was born Nov. 26, 1961, in St. Louis, to D. Lorn and Lola Ruth (Ainley) Clements. At the age of 3, the family moved to Fredericktown, Mo., where she grew up in a loving community and attended school, graduating from Fredericktown High in 1980. She then obtained a B.S. in business administration from Southeast Missouri State University in 1984.

On Nov. 9, 1985, she married her soul mate and one true love, David P. Hunt. They lived their life together in Jackson, where they reared two beautiful daughters, Lauryn Ruth and Logan Renee.

Lisa worked for John Layton, attorney, Cape Girardeau, for 19 years; Rose City Oil/Cutmart Corp. for eight years; Weight Watchers for more than 10 years and Shepherd of the Hills Outdoor Theatre for two years. She was incredibly active in her church, St. Paul Lutheran Church, and St. Paul Lutheran School, where she volunteered her time, talents and love to her children's education for as long as she was able. She greatly enjoyed walking, traveling, camping at Arrowhead Campground, helping others and being with her family. Her greatest love was her family, and she was extremely proud of their accomplishments. Whether she was with family or friends, her infectious smile would light up the room.

Lisa joins her father, D. Lorn Clements; her paternal grandparents, Arthur and Obie Clements; her maternal grandparents, Russell and Christeen Ainley; and her father-in-law, Harold Hunt, in a celebration in Heaven.
