Casting absentee votes Monday in Cape County

Raj, front, and Kal Shah cast absentee ballots Monday at the Common Pleas Courthouse Annex in Cape Girardeau. The Shahs will be out of town on Election Day. The deadline for voters to make a request for an absentee ballot by mail, fax or in person is 5 p.m. Wednesday. Voters have until 5 p.m. Monday to cast an absentee ballot. The Common Pleas Courthouse Annex in Cape Girardeau and the County Administration Building in Jackson will be open from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday for absentee voters.
