Republican Lisa Reitzel won handily over Democrat Mary Cotner, with 23,648 votes to Cotner's 10,483.

The usually reliably Republican Cape Girardeau County isn't bucking any trend this election, with Republicans taking all of the races on the ballot in the county handily.
