Juanita Westrich

Juanita L. Westrich, 74, of Jackson passed away Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2013, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Sept. 23, 1938, in St. Francois County, daughter of Elmer and Lorene Rion Crites. She and A.J. Westrich were married in 1978 in Jackson.

Juanita was a member of First Baptist Church of Jackson. She was a 1957 graduate of Jackson High School. She worked most of her working career at J.C. Penney Co. After retirement she enjoyed luncheon dates with her "Penney Pals" and her senior classmates.

In addition to her loving husband, survivors include two stepsons, Derreck (Tara) Westrich of McKinney, Texas, Joe (Nicki) Westrich of Plano, Texas; four stepgrandchildren, Jake, Dillon and Zack Westrich of McKinney, Piper Westrich of Plano; two sisters, Wilma Brugger of Jackson, Irene (Robert) Menge of St. Charles, Mo.; a brother, Cletus Crites of Cape Girardeau; numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Hilda McClain, and a brother-in-law, Jerry Brugger.

Cremation will be accorded by McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson. There will be no service.
