ZALMA, Mo. -- The Missouri Child Identification Program (MoCHIP) is hosting an ID event from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the Zalma High School cafeteria, 1 School St. The program is free of charge and provides parents and children with two laminated identification cards, digital photographs, digital fingerprints, child information, emergency contacts and dental bite impressions. ZALMA, Mo. -- The Missouri Child Identification Program (MoCHIP) is hosting an ID event from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the Zalma High School cafeteria, 1 School St.

The program is free of charge and provides parents and children with two laminated identification cards, digital photographs, digital fingerprints, child information, emergency contacts and dental bite impressions. The information is put on a disk that is compatible with the Amber Alert system.

Organizers ask parents to have information forms completed; forms are available online at www.mochip.org.

According to organizers, having children's up-to-date information and current photo identification are important tools to help recover children in the case they go missing. For more information, call 573-495-2627.
