MOUNDS, Ill. -- Wallis H. Moreland, 84, of Mounds, formerly of Cairo, Ill., died Monday, Feb. 11, 2013, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Barkett Funeral Home in Cairo. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Mike Shearer officiating. Interment will be in Mound City National Cemetery with military honors...
