Ella Louise Woeltje, 91, of Jackson died Saturday, Feb. 9, 2013, at Monticello House.

She was born May 9, 1921, daughter of William and Sloma Cook Chapman. She married Paul G. Huffman in 1940 and Dale Woeltje Sr. in 1957. They preceded her in death.

Louise was a member of Connection Point General Baptist Church in Jackson, where she formerly taught Sunday school and was active in fundraising. Louise was baptized in the Jordan River in Israel. She retired in 1991 from Southeast Hospital, where she was a CNA 24 years.

Loving survivors include five sons, Paul (Carla) Huffman of Oak Ridge, Ronnie (Karen) Huffman of Cape Girardeau, Gary (Onzie) Huffman of Oak Ridge, Dale (Mary) Woeltje Jr. of Jackson and Glenn (Tammy) Woeltje of Jackson, Tenn.; a daughter, Evelyn Skinner of Lexington, Ky.; two sisters, Gladys Phelps of Overland, Mo., and Opal Gast of Whitewater; a daughter-in-law, Kay Huffman of Omaha, Neb.; 21 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, Earl Huffman; a son-in-law, Jim Skinner; two brothers; and three sisters.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson, and 10 a.m. to time of service Wednesday at Connection Point Church.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church, with the Rev. Kenny Trentham officiating. Burial will be in Russell Heights Cemetery.
