He was retired from the U.S. Navy.

Friends may call from 10 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. Monday at Rendleman and Hileman Funeral Home in Anna.

A funeral Mass will be at 1 p.m. Monday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Cobden, Ill., with the Rev. Uriel Salamanca officiating. Burial will be in Anna Cemetery, with military honors conducted by Carroll P. Foster VFW Post 3455 of Anna and Illinois National Guard Funeral Honors Team of Marion, Ill.
