A two-vehicle crash at the intersection of William Street and Silver Springs Road slowed traffic and sent a woman to the hospital Monday morning.

A 2000 Mercury Mountaineer was westbound on William Street approaching Silver Springs Road. According to witnesses, the driver of the Mountaineer failed to stop for a red light. The Mountaineer proceeded through the intersection and was struck by a 2003 Buick Park Avenue that was headed north on Silver Springs Road. The Mountaineer rolled onto its top. The driver of the Mountaineer sustained minor injuries and was transported by ambulance to a local hospital. The driver of the Buick was not injured.
