The Cape Girardeau Police Department said someone broke into two dentists' offices on North Kingshighway on Monday. The Cape Girardeau Police Department said someone broke into two dentists' offices on North Kingshighway on Monday.

According to department spokesman Darin Hickey, at about 7 a.m., officers arrived at Fox Family Dentistry, 832 N. Kingshighway, in reference to a burglary report. A window had been broken and someone had been inside, but nothing appeared missing. The burglary is believed to have occurred between 10 a.m. Sunday and employees' arrival for work Monday morning, Hickey said.

Hickey said police also were dispatched at about 8:30 a.m. to River City Dental Arts, 889 N. Kingshighway. Employees said they found the back door open and two computers and an undisclosed amount of cash missing. The employees said the burglary likely happened between 10 a.m. Saturday and the time they arrived for work Monday. Hickey said there was no way to know if the cases are related, and no suspects were in custody Tuesday morning.
