Repairs to Bertling Street are scheduled to begin today, according to the Cape Girardeau Public Works Department.

Bertling Street will receive concrete slab repair and replacement from West End Boulevard to Perryville Road. Westbound traffic will be detoured onto West End Boulevard to New Madrid Street and on New Madrid Street to Perry Avenue until repairs are complete.

Repairs are scheduled to take four weeks, weather permitting. The city asks all drivers to use caution when driving around work zones.
