There had been speculation for some time that Southeast Missouri State's Sept. 21 football game against SIU Carbondale, scheduled to be played at Houck Stadium in Cape Girardeau, would instead be moved to Busch Stadium in St. Louis.

That is now official after Friday's announcement that the St. Louis Cardinals will host a press conference at 11 a.m. Monday to release the details about the first NCAA football game to be played at the new Busch Stadium between the Redhawks and Salukis.

The press conference, to be held in the stadium's press dining room, will feature Cardinals president Bill DeWitt III along with the president/chancellor, athletic directors and football coaches of both universities.
