All the local high school events reported Monday to the Southeast Missourian.

The Central baseball team can't seem to find a break.

The Tigers built a 9-5 lead after three innings only to see Windsor score five straight over the next three innings and defeat the host Tigers 10-9.

It was Central's 12th consecutive loss this season.

"We're scuffling," Central coach Steve Williams said after his Tigers dropped to 4-16. "We've had some injuries. ... But we're fighting through it and we're gonna get better. Our kids are hanging tough."

Trevor Probst and Chase Hagerty each had two hits for Central, with Hagerty getting tagged with the loss in relief.

Windsor improved to 7-3.

Kelby Brown hit a triple to help the Blue Jays get the win at home.

Hunter Seyer earned his first win of the season on the mound. He pitched six innings and gave up no earned runs on six hits with six strikeouts and no walks for Oak Ridge (6-3).

Alex Hodges was the losing pitcher. He gave up three hits on one earned run over six innings, striking out four and walking five to pace the winless Panthers (0-9).

Saxony Lutheran 9, Leopold 9

In a game that was delayed 45 minutes due to an injured Leopold player, darkness caused the host Crusaders to call the game a tie after seven innings.

Leopold center fielder Austin Bucher and shortstop Joe Elfrink collided on a pop fly in the bottom of the second. Bucher was removed from the premises by ambulance with a possible concussion.

Gabe Bohnert and Jack Lake both had a double for Saxony Lutheran (5-5-1).

Ethan Mirly was on the mound for the Crusaders when the game was called. Joe Elfrink was the pitcher for the Wildcats (7-5-1). The game will not be resumed.

SCAA Tournament

Second-seeded Woodland and No. 4 Bell City reached the semifinals of the Stoddard County Conference tournament.

Ben Lincoln threw a four-inning no-hitter to lead Woodland into today's 4 p.m. game against the winner of No. 3 Bloomfield and No. 6 Puxico.

Lincoln struck out eight, hit one batter and did not issue a walk.

Lincoln also had a double, while Garrett Reynolds, Aaron Yount and Dylan Miller all had two hits.

Jerad Yates had three hits in Bell City's 13-6 win over No. 5 Advance

Aaron Smith was the winning pitcher and threw a complete game for Bell City (5-7).

Ethan Barr, who went 3 for 3 at the plate, suffered the loss on the mound for the Hornets.

Bell City will face top-seeded Bernie today.

SCCA Tournament

Third-seeded Woodland advanced to the championship game of the Stoddard County Conference Association Tournament with a pair of victories in Dexter, Mo.

The Cardinals defeated Bloomfield 17-0 in three innings, then dealt a 10-6 loss to Advance.

Josie Long did not surrender a hit in the win against Bloomfield and also belted a home run.

Keighlin Lincoln added a triple, while Valerie Lewis had a double. Long and Lincoln both had three hits, while Lewis had two.

Kathlin Cooper recorded the win against Advance. Cooper also had three hits, while Lewis, Lincoln and Long had two apiece. MaKenzie Rhodes added a double for the Cardinals (7-4).

Losing pitcher Hannah Clark had a triple for Advance.

Woodland will face top-seeded Bernie at 6:30 p.m. today in the championship game.

TRACK & FIELD

The Notre Dame boys' track and field team recently took sixth place in the 9th Annual Corey Siebert Memorial Track & Field Invitational.

Seth Sievers led the Bulldogs with a first-place throw of 149 feet, seven inches in the discus event at Saturday's 24-team meet at Rockwood Summit High School in Fenton, Mo.

On the girls' side, Notre Dame placed 10th overall. Marissa New paced the Bulldogs with a third-place throw of 110 feet, five inches in the discus. Ali Norder also posted a third-place finish in the 1,600 dash with a time of 5:36.75.
